Introduction

WiseInovatech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the RealRate mobile application (Package ID: com.wiseinovatech.realrate) available on Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

RealRate is a financial calculator that helps you discover your real hourly rate after hidden costs such as commute, unpaid overtime, healthcare, and other job-related expenses. It also provides AI-powered career coaching via Google Gemini and PDF report generation.

By using RealRate, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Data We Collect

RealRate does not directly collect personal data. However, third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase may collect certain information. The following data is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers:

• Job & Salary Data — Your salary, bonuses, hourly rates, and hidden cost calculations (stored in realrate_history)
• Location Preferences — Selected country and subregion for tax calculations
• App Preferences — Theme selection, notification and haptic settings
• Premium Status — Subscription plan and trial usage history
• Usage Counters — Number of calculations performed (used for in-app review timing only)

The following data is sent to external services:

• Google AdMob — Device identifiers and Advertising ID for ad personalization
• Firebase Analytics — App events: calculation_completed, ai_coach_used, pdf_exported, comparison_made, history_saved
• Firebase Crashlytics — Stack traces, device model, and OS version for bug reporting
• Google Gemini AI — Job title, real/contract hourly rates, hidden costs, and pay cut percentage for AI coaching
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Your device’s FCM token for delivering push notifications. This token is not linked to any personal identity.
• Google Play — Transaction identifiers for validating premium purchases

Android Permissions Used:

• INTERNET — Required for Firebase, AdMob, Gemini AI, and FCM to function
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required on Android 13+ to display push and local notifications. You will be asked for permission before any notification is shown. You may deny or revoke this at any time via device Settings.
• AD_ID (Advertising ID) — Required by Google AdMob on Android 13+ for ad personalization. Subject to your GDPR consent choice.

Local Storage

All user-generated data is stored exclusively on your device using Android’s SharedPreferences system. We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud storage that holds your personal financial information.

Your salary data, job calculations, and preferences stay on your device and are completely private to you. You can delete all local data at any time via Settings → Delete All Data.

Third-Party Services

RealRate uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data they may collect:

Data Deletion

Delete all your locally stored data directly from the app:

• Open RealRate
• Go to Settings (last tab)
• Tap Delete All Data
• Confirm — all job history, calculations, and preferences permanently erased

For data held by third-party services (AdMob, Firebase), you can opt out via your device’s Google account settings under Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

Children’s Privacy

RealRate is designed for working professionals, freelancers, and job seekers. The app does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. Content rating: Everyone.

If you believe your child has provided personal data through our app, contact us immediately at team@wiseinovatech.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove that information.

User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access — Request information about data associated with your device
• Right to Deletion — Delete all local data via Settings → Delete All Data
• Opt out of personalized ads — Go to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• GDPR Consent — EU/UK users are shown a consent form before any ads are initialized. You may withdraw consent at any time.

In-App Purchases

RealRate offers the following Premium plans via Google Play Billing:

• Premium Monthly (product ID: premium_monthly) — Auto-renewing monthly subscription
• Premium Yearly (product ID: premium_yearly) — Auto-renewing yearly subscription with optional 7-day free trial
• Premium Lifetime (product ID: premium_lifetime) — One-time purchase, no recurring charges

All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Store. We never access, store, or process your payment information. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
